This was my first project, and its early success and others' belief in me left an indelible mark on my confidence as a self-starter

• Designed iOS app to teach kids to save, invest, and spend more wisely

• Won the New York Stock Exchange's Financial Future Challenge, along with funding to develop idea into full app (~$30,000 in total)

• Rung the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange

• Later pivoted into startup that raised $100,000 from Draper University
